August 2011:
· T-MOBILE leased 1,260 SF in the Grove Plaza 2220 E. Plaza Blvd. building, Ste. P. T-Mobile specializes in the sale and rental of personal communication services and products and is a national provider of wireless voice, messaging and data services capable of reaching over 293 million Americans. This location is the second T-Mobile lease facilitated through the Landlord's Management Company, Developers Resource Companies Inc., with the other being located in Oceanside at our 76 Expressway and Douglas Drive center in Oceanside.
September 2011:
· TAPIOCA EXPRESS opened in the 1,461 SF Ste. S of the Grove Plaza 2220 E. Plaza Blvd. building. Tapioca Express specializes in the retail sale of Asian-influenced "boba" based drinks, teas, juice, soda, flavored milk, shaved ice and light snacks. Tapioca Express restaurants can be found in California, Washington, Texas and Nevada and the company has been in business since 1999.
November 2011:
· RUTH'S ORCHIDS AND SUPPLIES has leased 788 SF in the Grove Plaza 2240 E. Plaza Blvd. building, Ste. F. Ruth's Orchids specializes in the sale of orchids and orchid floral arrangements as well as the sale of lucky bamboo. Opening their first streetside retail location, this mother and daughter team has had much success selling orchids in San Diego County farmers' markets and swap meets.
· GROVE PLAZA DENTAL GROUP has leased a 1,330 SF retail/office in the 2240 E. Plaza Blvd. building in the Shopping Center. Grove Plaza Dental Group will operate as a General Dentistry practice, alongside the several other dental professionals in the Shopping Center. The practice's primary dentist professional also owns and operates another dental practice in Pacific Beach.
RANCHO DEL ORO GATEWAY SHOPPING CENTER:
August 2010:
· SPRINT leased 1,285 SF at 4225 Oceanside Blvd., Ste. M. Sprint specializes in the sale and services of cellular phones and related items and accessories. Sprint offers a comprehensive range of wireless and wireline communications services bringing the freedom of mobility to consumers, businesses and government users. Sprint Nextel served more than 53 million customers at the end of 3rd Quarter 2011 and is widely recognized for developing, engineering and deploying innovative technologies, including the first wireless 4G service from a national carrier in the United States; offering industry-leading mobile data services, leading prepaid brands including Virgin Mobile USA, Boost Mobile, and Assurance Wireless; instant national and international push-to-talk capabilities; and a global Tier 1 Internet backbone.
January 2011:
· SMILEWAVE DENTAL GROUP leased 1,760 SF retail/office at 4225 Oceanside Blvd., Ste. G. Smilewave Dental operates as a General and Implant Dentistry Practice, with its primary dentist joining the tenant mix at Rancho Del Oro after having a successful practice in Utah for nearly a decade.
September 2011:
· THE UPS STORE leased a1,290 SF store at 4225 Oceanside Blvd., Ste. H. The UPS Store operates as a parcel and packaging shipment center, selling packaging supplies and services, as well as postal and business services. United Parcel Service ("UPS") of America, Inc. is the world's largest franchisor of retail shipping, postal, printing and business service centers. The UPS Store® and Mail Boxes Etc. ® together comprise nearly 4,700 independently owned locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada.
October 2011:
· COMPADRES GRILLED CHICKEN leased a 1,513 SF restaurant at 4225 Oceanside Blvd., Ste. B. Compadres Grilled Chicken operates as a quick service and take out restaurant serving grilled chicken and related side dishes. This restaurant will be the third location for its owners, who currently own and operate two other locations in San Diego County.
November 2011:
· AUTOZONE CORPORATION leased 7,000 SF at 4225 Oceanside Blvd., Ste. Z and 4231 Oceanside Blvd., Stes. A, B & C. This highly recognized, national tenant is the No. 1 auto parts retailer in America, selling auto and light truck parts, chemicals and accessories through over 4,000 AutoZone stores in 48 states and the District of Columbia in the United States and 84 AutoZone stores in Mexico.
RELOCATING IN RANCHO DEL ORO GATEWAY:
· CHARMING SIAM, the center's Thai restaurant will be relocated to 4225 Oceanside Blvd., Ste. X in order to facilitate the arrival of our newest tenant, Autozone. Charming Siam offers quality Thai cuisine at a reasonable price, including weekly lunch and dinner specials, as well as buffets. Expect to see Charming Siam in their new location in Spring 2012, where they will continue serving delicious Thai cuisine. Until then, they remain in their current location on the endcap of the Shopping Center's main shops building.
· Wings-Pizza-N-Things SPORTBAR, already a tenant at the Shopping Center, will be relocated to 4225 Oceanside Blvd, Suites R, S & T in order to facilitate the location of newest tenant, Autozone. Wings-Pizza-N-Things is a middle priced restaurant that appeals to the person who deserves informality with real and perceived values for money spent dining out and eating on-the-go. Expect to see Wings-Pizza-N-Things sPORTBAR in their new location in Spring 2012, when you can stop by to have a bite to eat and drink and watch the game. Until then, you can still visit them at their current location.
